Privacy Policy

Overview

This page is maintained by Cadence Labs to answer common privacy questions about Cadence. Cadence is a HubSpot integration that lets you enroll contacts into sequences from workflows. We handle data carefully, store it securely, and only collect what we need to provide the service.

What we collect

Cadence collects and processes the following data:

  • Account data: Your email, name, and HubSpot portal ID when you sign in or install the app.
  • Workflow data: Which workflows you connect to Cadence, and configuration choices you make (sender settings, filters, throttling).
  • Enrollment logs: When a workflow triggers and Cadence enrolls a contact in a sequence, we log the event for analytics and troubleshooting. This includes the contact ID and sequence ID — not the full email content.
  • Analytics: Anonymous usage metrics to help us improve the product.

How we use it

We use your data only to:

  • Run the Cadence service — enrolling contacts, managing workflows, and showing you analytics.
  • Send service-related emails (billing alerts, critical updates, security notices).
  • Fix bugs and improve the product.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your contact lists for marketing. We do not train AI models on your data.

HubSpot data

Cadence connects to your HubSpot account via OAuth. We can read workflow configurations and enroll contacts into sequences on your behalf. We do not store your HubSpot contacts' personal data (names, emails, phone numbers) in our database — enrollment happens directly through HubSpot's API. We retain only the contact ID and a timestamp for logging purposes.

Subprocessors

We rely on the following services to run Cadence:

  • HubSpot — the platform Cadence integrates with. Data is processed in HubSpot's systems under their terms.
  • Lovable Cloud — our hosting and database provider (Supabase infrastructure). Data is stored in the EU.

Retention & deletion

We keep enrollment logs for 12 months to support analytics and debugging. If you uninstall Cadence from HubSpot or delete your account, we remove your workflow configurations and anonymize your logs within 30 days. You can request earlier deletion by emailing us.

Cookies

Cadence uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. We may use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not set cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
